UPLB MNH Curators have been appointed by UPLB Chancellor based on their respective fields of specialization effective January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2014 (Administrative Order no. 091, Series of 2012).
Curators’ responsibilities include the supervision of the MNH holdings as well as research and extension undertakings based on their fields of expertise. Some curators are actively involved in some research projects of the unit, as well as research-related activities like expeditions and field works.
With the help of their projects, MNH holdings increase and more discoveries and types representing new species are acquired, raising the worldwide significance and status of the MNH. Also, they are involved in providing suggestions for knowledgeable and high-quality exhibits and displays.
