Dr. Marian P. De Leon is the MNH's curator for food and cave microbes and extremophiles. Marian is a microbiologist with a PhD in Engineering (Molecular Biotechnology) from the Osaka University, Japan. She also holds MS and BS Degrees in Food Science and Technology, respectively from the University of the Philippines Los Baños.

Prof. Noel G. Sabino is MNH's curator for bacteria, yeasts and molds. He is currently Assistant Professor 7 at the Institute of Biological Sciences, College of Arts and Sciences, UPLB.

Noel is studying Environmental Science minor in Microbiology for his doctorate. He obtained his MS Microbiology minor in Soil Science (1995) and BS Biology major in Microbiology cum laude (1988) from UPLB.

Dr. Milagrosa M. Goss is MNH's curator for algae and diatoms. She is a Professor Emeritus at the Institute of Biological Sciences, College of Arts and Sciences, UPLB.

Prof. Emeritus Goss has a PhD in Botany with specialization in Phycology (1976) from UPLB. Her research interests in on the biology of blue-green algae and diatoms.

Dr. Sanchez serves as MNH's adjunct curator for food microbes and extremophiles. Sanchez is a retired professor of the Food Science Cluster, College of Agriculture and earned her Ph.D. in Applied Microbiology from Tokyo University of Agriculture; her MS Plant Pathology in 1965; and BS Agriculture in 1957 from UPLB. Dr. Sanchez has pioneered and has continued conducting relevant researches about fermentation and its uses in the country.
