Andres Tomas L. Dans, MS
Zoological and Wildlife Collection

Prof. Andy is MNH’s curator for mammals. He is currently Assistant Professor 3 at the Department of Forest Biological Sciences, College of Forestry and Natural Resources. He mainly teaches courses on wildlife and zoology. Prof. Dans has also taught at the Institute of Biological Sciences. He obtained his BS Zoology and MS Zoology from UPLB in 1981 and 1988, respectively.

Prof. Dans’ research interests lie in the areas of Biodiversity Conservation, Mammalogy, Morpho-Anatomy, Vertebrate Physiology, Vertebrate Systematics, Wildlife Inventory, Wildlife Ecology and Zoogeography.

Andy has a very wide gamut of experience as consultant to many biodiversity-related projects done in Palawan, Cordillera region, Mindoro, Negros Oriental, Negros Occidental, Surigao del Sur, Laguna, Quezon, Rizal, Cebu, Pangasinan, Bataan and others.
