Flor is a communication professional with science, agriculture and development backgrounds and has several years of experience in journalism, semi-technical writing, and editing of news, features, technical and popular publications and documents; and publications management. A creative computer-based worker, Flor has already deployed several websites and other information portals for the academe using both open-source and proprietary platforms and available social networking sites and media.
He also dabbles in documentary photography and videography and possesses a wide set of general multimedia production skills. In 2014, he completed a three-month Master Class in Documentary Photography (as a Butch Baluyut Scholar) under one of the pillars of Philippine documentary photography, Alex Baluyut.
Flor gained his Master of Development Communication from the UP Open University in 2012. He also holds a Diploma in Computer Science (2005) and BS degree in Agriculture (1997) from the University of the Philippines Los Banos.
