I am Angelo Ralp F. Miguel, a biology student at Manila Central University (MCU). I did my internship at the University of the Philippines Los Baños Museum of Natural History (UPLB MNH) from July 19, 2023 to August 18, 2023.

The internship helped me to love biology so even more. Ever since I was a child, I have loved catching insects and spiders and watching and reading books about dinosaurs. I am still super excited when studying biology. Right now, I want to focus on microbiology but after taking the internship I believe I want to focus on entomology because I really like it.

These 150 hours of internship helped me to enhance my skill in handling specimens, encoding every detail, and other important things to do when collecting specimens from the field. My gratitude goes to the staff of UPLB MNH, for without them, I would not be able to learn the proper way.
