Dyra Rhaniella B. Tagudin, a third-year BS Biology student at Mariano Marcos State University, has been fascinated by nature since childhood. This curiosity led her to the doors of the Biology program. Now, in her BS Biology program, she is always eager for new adventures. Her excitement for biology never fades; it keeps growing with each opportunity. This constant passion makes her endlessly curious and excited about the amazing things in the natural world.

Dyra recently had an internship at UPLB-Museum of Natural History, specializing in the zoology and entomology track from February 12 to March 15, 2024 collaborating closely with her dedicated supervisors in the field.

During her internship program at the UPLB Museum of Natural History, she was given the chance to dive into diverse activities. Not only did she gain experience in databasing and handling preserved specimens, but she also had the opportunity to explore wildlife and nature including entomology. The experience served as her eye-opener, revealing that biology extends far beyond its textbook definition. Inspired by the opportunities within the field, she has decided to pursue a master’s degree in biology, driven by her constant passion and interest in the field of Biology.

For now, she is diligently working to complete her bachelor’s degree in Biology for a brighter future. Dyra continues to enjoy her hobby of exploring nature, maintaining a balance between her studies and personal fulfillment.
